About the Opportunity

ILGA World is recruiting an Individual Giving and Corporate Support Specialist to help diversify its funding sources through individual donors and values-aligned corporate partnerships. The successful candidate will work closely with fundraising, communications, finance, and program teams to strengthen donor engagement while ensuring fundraising practices remain ethical, transparent, and community-centered.

This is a 50% part-time remote position, allowing successful applicants to work from their legally authorized country of residence. The organization does not provide relocation support to Geneva, Switzerland.

The contract runs for 18 months, beginning around 1 September 2026, with the possibility of extension depending on performance and funding availability.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will play a central role in strengthening ILGA World’s long-term financial sustainability by developing fundraising systems that generate predictable and flexible income.

The role focuses on growing support from:

• Individual donors
• Monthly giving programs
• Mid-size and major donors
• Values-aligned corporate supporters

The specialist will also help improve donor experiences, fundraising communications, reporting systems, and corporate due diligence processes.

Key Responsibilities

The Individual Giving and Corporate Support Specialist will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing an 18-month fundraising workplan
• Designing and managing 2–3 donor campaigns annually
• Building and expanding a monthly giving program
• Strengthening donor stewardship and supporter communications
• Supporting cultivation of mid-size and major gifts
• Managing values-based corporate fundraising initiatives
• Conducting ethical screening and due diligence for corporate partners
• Improving donor data systems using fundraising platforms
• Coordinating fundraising activities with communications and finance teams
• Monitoring fundraising performance using key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Producing regular reports and recommendations for continuous improvement

The role also supports stronger collaboration across departments to ensure fundraising activities remain aligned with ILGA World’s values and strategic priorities.

Salary and Benefits

ILGA World offers a competitive salary based on location through its global salary framework.

Benefits include:

• Annual salary ranging from CHF 28,371 to CHF 40,530 (50% part-time)
• Fully remote work arrangement
• Flexible working hours
• 20.25 working hours per week
• 32 days of leave (pro-rated)
• Health care cost contributions
• Possibility of contract renewal or extension

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the country where they intend to work remotely.

Candidates should also demonstrate a strong commitment to advancing the rights of people with diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, gender expressions, and sex characteristics.

Education and Experience

Applicants may qualify through different educational pathways combined with relevant professional experience.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Postgraduate qualification with at least five years of relevant fundraising experience

or

• Bachelor’s degree with at least seven years of relevant experience

or

• Nine years of qualifying fundraising experience without a degree.
