Purpose of the Consultancy

Required Qualifications and Experience

WHO is seeking candidates with advanced expertise in public health research and migration health.

Applicants must have:

• A Master’s degree or PhD in Public Health or a related discipline.
• Strong research experience related to refugee and migrant health.
• Experience in global health research or health systems research.
• Knowledge of health challenges affecting displaced and mobile populations.
• Experience developing research outputs, reports, or evidence-based recommendations.
• Ability to collaborate with international stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.

Candidates with experience working in humanitarian settings, migration health programmes, or international research initiatives will be highly competitive.

Consultancy Duration and Working Arrangements

The consultancy will run for 11 months, from:

September 2026 to August 2027

The position is:

Home-based

However, the consultant will be expected to undertake international travel when required to support meetings, consultations, and research-related activities.
