Remote Vice President of Finance and Administration Opportunity
The VPFA will report directly to the President and work closely with senior leadership, the Board of Directors and Board committees. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership across finance and administration while helping ensure the organization remains financially strong, compliant and operationally effective.
The position has three major areas of responsibility: financial management, general business administration and risk management, and information technology and security.
Financial management represents approximately 60% of the role. The VPFA will oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, treasury management, investments, audits, tax compliance, contracts, insurance and financial risk management.
The position will also involve supervising accounting staff and contractors, maintaining internal controls and preparing financial information for organizational leaders and the Board.
Key Responsibilities
The Vice President of Finance and Administration will be responsible for providing strategic financial advice and supporting organizational decision-making.

Requirements for Applicants
This is a senior executive position requiring substantial professional experience. Candidates should have a degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field, or equivalent experience. A master’s degree, MBA or CPA is preferred.
Applicants should have at least 10 years of progressive experience in nonprofit or mission-driven finance leadership. Experience managing finance teams and developing an accountable and inclusive team culture is also required.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, nonprofit financial regulations, grants management and compliance is important. Candidates should also demonstrate strategic thinking, strong judgment, analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
Experience advising senior executives and boards on complex financial issues will be particularly relevant to this position.
Salary and Benefits
The position offers a salary range of $164,690 to $177,871.57 per year.
