UNICEF Hiring: Individual Giving GGP2.0 Project/Product Manager Consultant (Remote with Travel)

Professionals with experience in digital product management, CMS implementation, and eCommerce platforms have an exciting opportunity to work with UNICEF. The organization is seeking an Individual Giving GGP2.0 Project/Product Manager Consultant for a 12-month consultancy supporting its Global Individual Giving Fundraising Team. This remote position, based in Rome, Italy, includes international travel and offers the chance to help transform UNICEF’s global digital fundraising platform.
About the Consultancy
UNICEF’s Division of Private Fundraising and Partnerships (PFP) is leading the development of the Global Giving Platform 2.0 (GGP2)—a next-generation enterprise digital fundraising platform designed to support UNICEF offices worldwide.
Built using Optimizely’s Content Management System (CMS) and Digital Experience Platform (DXP), the project aims to create a scalable, secure, and donor-centered digital ecosystem that enhances fundraising performance while improving user experience across multiple markets.
The successful consultant will co-lead this enterprise-level initiative, collaborating with global teams, vendors, agencies, and country offices to ensure successful implementation and continuous product improvement.
Key Responsibilities
The Project/Product Manager will oversee the rollout and governance of the Global Giving Platform 2.0. Responsibilities include:
- Managing the end-to-end implementation of the CMS platform.
- Coordinating enterprise-level digital platform launches across multiple countries.
- Leading project planning, execution, and delivery.
- Managing budgets, timelines, and project resources.
- Developing implementation roadmaps and governance frameworks.
- Supporting country offices through platform migration and onboarding.
- Establishing communication channels and stakeholder engagement processes.
- Coordinating vendors, internal teams, and implementation partners.
- Monitoring market readiness and managing go/no-go decisions.
- Supporting continuous product enhancement using user feedback and analytics.
- Ensuring platform security, privacy, and compliance standards.
- Promoting innovative technologies, including AI-enabled solutions.
The consultant will work within a collaborative global environment where digital innovation directly supports UNICEF’s fundraising efforts for children worldwide.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- An advanced university degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, Digital Media, or another relevant field.
Alternatively:
- A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with two additional years of relevant professional experience.
Candidates should also have:
- At least five years of experience managing enterprise CMS platform implementations.
- Experience delivering end-to-end CMS rollouts.
- Strong understanding of CMS architecture and migration strategies.
- Experience working across multiple countries and markets.
- Knowledge of decentralized and hybrid CMS environments.
- Experience establishing governance structures and collaboration processes.
- Strong programme planning and budget management skills.
- Experience developing resource models and funding plans.
- Experience coordinating enterprise-level product launches.
Preferred Skills

Language Requirements
Applicants must demonstrate:
- Fluency in English.
- Fluency in Spanish to support Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) markets.
Knowledge of another official United Nations language—including French, Arabic, Chinese, or Russian—is considered an asset.
