TRUST Consultancy & Development is offering remote internship opportunities across multiple departments. We welcome 10–20 interns each quarter, beginning with a two-week orientation and training, followed by close supervision by one of our experienced staff members.

About TRUST Consultancy & Development
TRUST Consultancy & Development is an independent research and capacity development consultancy based in Turkey, serving clients across the MENA region.
Since its establishment in 2016, TRUST has provided expert services to international and local NGOs, donors, businesses, and development stakeholders across humanitarian and development sectors.
Internship Objective
This internship provides hands-on experience in the humanitarian and development sector. Interns will gain practical exposure in areas such as:
- Proposal writing and business development
- Monitoring, evaluation, and research
- Training and capacity development
- Media, communication, and digital marketing
- Data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Human resources and project management
Based on TRUST’s experience:
- A committed intern can master the basics of their department within 4–6 months
- After 12 months, high-performing interns may manage projects independently
- Candidates with prior experience may progress more rapidly to project management roles
Tasks & Responsibilities
Responsibilities will vary by department and will be defined in coordination with your assigned supervisor. Interns will:
- Act as assistants to their supervisors after the two-week orientation
- Gradually take on increased responsibilities based on performance
- Support tasks such as secondary data research, proofreading, data entry, translation, and webinar preparation
- Be assigned to projects aligned with their sectoral and geographical interests (e.g., food security, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen, etc.)
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
- Strong interest in the humanitarian and development sector
- University degree or relevant qualifications (e.g., Development Studies, Education, Logistics, Events Management)
- Fluent in English
- Arabic, Turkish, Kurdish, or Persian (Farsi) is an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Teaching or training design experience is an asset
- Knowledge of the Middle East region is an advantage
- Familiarity with NGOs, donors, and humanitarian actors is an asset
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills
- Comfortable working in a multicultural, international team
