Overview of the Regional Auditor Role
The Regional Auditor position is designed for professionals who can provide independent and objective assurance to strengthen organisational performance. The role focuses on evaluating and improving:

Key Responsibilities
The Regional Auditor will undertake a wide range of audit and advisory activities, including:
- Conducting audit engagements aligned with the Annual Audit Plan
- Applying a risk-based auditing approach to identify and address key risks
- Evaluating internal controls and governance frameworks
- Supporting investigations related to fraud or misconduct when required
- Documenting audit findings and ensuring timely reporting
- Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across regions
- Providing advisory support to leadership to enhance operational effectiveness
Required Qualifications and Experience
Candidates applying for this role should meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Internal Audit, or related field
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CIA (completed or in progress)
- At least two years of audit experience in a recognised organisation
- Experience in risk-based auditing
- Familiarity with audit standards from the Institute of Internal Auditors
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience within non-governmental organisations or accredited audit firms is considered an advantage.
