About the Youth Program Coordinator Role
The Youth Program Coordinator will lead the GLF Youth Program by designing, managing, and delivering initiatives that empower young people aged 18 to 35 to become leaders in environmental sustainability and ecosystem restoration.
Working closely with the Youth in Landscapes (YIL) Steering Committee and internal GLF teams, the successful consultant will ensure youth voices are integrated across GLF programs, events, learning opportunities, and policy engagement.
This consultancy will run from October 2026 to October 2027, with the possibility of renewal based on performance.

Key Responsibilities
The successful consultant will oversee strategic planning, program implementation, partnerships, and youth engagement activities.
Strategy Development
Responsibilities include:
- Developing long-term strategies for youth engagement.
- Leading implementation of the annual Youth Program Plan.
- Identifying innovative approaches to expand youth impact globally.
- Supporting monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities.
- Ensuring compliance with partnership agreements.
Team Leadership
The coordinator will:
- Lead and mentor the Youth Program team.

Program Management
Core responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the Restoration Stewards Program.

Qualifications and Experience
GLF is seeking an experienced professional with strong leadership and project management skills.

- At least three years of relevant professional experience.
