Key Responsibilities
Programme Leadership & Implementation
- Lead crisis and resilience workplans aligned with UNDP strategy
- Design scalable policy and programme models
- Oversee research, implementation, and technical quality
- Prepare policy guidance and strategic reports
Research in Fragile Contexts
- Manage full research cycles (design → analysis → dissemination)
- Develop methodologies and mixed-method frameworks
- Ensure data quality systems and research integrity
- Collaborate with academic and research institutions
Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement
- Coordinate with governments, donors, NGOs, and private sector actors
- Support resource mobilization and project proposals

Required Qualifications
Education
- Master’s degree in International Relations, Public Policy, Economics, Data Science or related field
OR - Bachelor’s degree + 2 additional years of relevant experience
Experience
- Minimum 2–4 years in programme coordination, research, or policy analysis
- Experience in fragile or conflict-affected contexts strongly preferred
- Strong skills in research design, data analysis, and policy writing
Desirable Skills
- Experience in Afghanistan or Horn of Africa contexts
- Knowledge of market systems or value chain analysis
- Experience with AI tools, Python, R, or data pipelines
- Digital data collection system design
- Strong analytical writing and policy communication skills
