Key Responsibilities

Programme Leadership & Implementation

  • Lead crisis and resilience workplans aligned with UNDP strategy

Research in Fragile Contexts

  • Manage full research cycles (design → analysis → dissemination)

Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Master’s degree in International Relations, Public Policy, Economics, Data Science or related field
    OR
  • Bachelor’s degree + 2 additional years of relevant experience

Experience

  • Minimum 2–4 years in programme coordination, research, or policy analysis
  • Experience in fragile or conflict-affected contexts strongly preferred
  • Strong skills in research design, data analysis, and policy writing

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in Afghanistan or Horn of Africa contexts
  • Knowledge of market systems or value chain analysis
  • Experience with AI tools, Python, R, or data pipelines
  • Digital data collection system design
  • Strong analytical writing and policy communication skills
