PDRS is hiring: Senior Fundraising Consultant | Earn up to $4,000/Month

A new remote fundraising opportunity is available for an experienced development professional looking to lead a high-impact campaign from the ground up. The Psychological and Developmental Relief Society (PDRS) is seeking a Senior Fundraising Consultant – Campaign & Donor Development to build and lead a fundraising campaign designed to generate US$150,000 within 90 days.

The position is fully remote and can be performed from anywhere in the world, making it accessible to experienced fundraising professionals across different regions.

Opportunity Overview

The Senior Fundraising Consultant will take ownership of PDRS’s fundraising campaign from strategy through implementation. The organization already has an established structure, website and international donation infrastructure, but currently has no established donor base or audience.

This creates an opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to build a donor-development strategy from zero, identify promising funding opportunities and establish relationships that can support both the immediate campaign and longer-term sustainability.

The contract is scheduled to run from September 1 through November 30, 2026. Applications must be submitted by August 23, 2026.

The role is classified at the managerial experience level, with compensation ranging from US$2,000 to US$4,000 per month.

Key Responsibilities

The successful consultant will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising campaign. This includes identifying prospective donors, developing fundraising approaches and creating strategies designed to generate measurable results.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Developing the overall fundraising strategy and campaign plan.
  • Identifying individual, institutional and other donor opportunities.
  • Building relationships with prospective donors.
  • Developing partnerships and outreach strategies.
  • Creating compelling fundraising campaigns and appeals.
  • Identifying the most effective fundraising channels.
  • Managing campaign execution independently.
  • Establishing a foundation for sustainable fundraising beyond the initial 90-day campaign.

The organization is particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate that they have successfully delivered measurable fundraising results in previous roles.

Who Should Apply?

This opportunity is aimed at experienced fundraising and donor-development professionals rather than entry-level candidates.

PDRS is looking for someone with a proven record of raising funds and developing fundraising initiatives from the beginning. Experience with U.S. and international donors is considered highly valuable.

Strong candidates should be able to demonstrate specific achievements, including the amount they personally helped raise, the timeframe involved and the role they played in achieving the result.

The ability to work independently is also important. Because the consultant will be responsible for taking the campaign from strategy to execution, applicants should be comfortable making decisions, developing partnerships, managing outreach and adjusting strategies based on results.

Working proficiency in English is required to perform the role effectively.

The 90-Day Fundraising Challenge

One of the most significant aspects of this opportunity is PDRS’s ambitious target of raising US$150,000 within 90 days.

Because the organization does not currently have an established donor audience, the successful consultant will need to approach the campaign strategically. Building a prospect pipeline, identifying high-potential funding sources, creating persuasive messaging and developing relationships will all be important components of the campaign.

Applicants will be asked during the application process to briefly explain how they would approach raising the US$150,000 target and what their initial steps would be.

This makes the application an opportunity for candidates to demonstrate not only their previous achievements but also their strategic thinking and ability to develop a realistic fundraising plan.

Remote Work and Contract Details

The position is fully remote, with work possible from anywhere in the world. The associated organization location is Gaza.

The consultancy is scheduled to begin on September 1, 2026, and end on November 30, 2026.

The compensation range is US$2,000–US$4,000 per month, with the organization indicating that compensation is highly competitive for the right candidate.

PDRS emphasizes demonstrated results, initiative and the ability to execute independently when assessing candidates.

How to Apply

The application deadline is August 23, 2026. Applicants will need to submit a resume in PDF format and provide their basic contact and location information.

Candidates should be prepared to answer two key questions:

  1. What is the strongest fundraising result you have personally achieved? Applicants should provide the amount raised, timeframe, starting point and their specific role.
  2. How would you raise US$150,000 within 90 days from a starting point with no established donor base? Candidates should briefly outline their strategy and first steps.

These questions mean applicants should focus on specific evidence and measurable achievements rather than generic descriptions of fundraising experience.

For experienced fundraisers with a strong record of donor development, campaign strategy and partnership building, this remote consultancy offers an opportunity to take significant ownership of a fundraising initiative while helping establish a longer-term donor-development foundation.
