The International Budget Partnership (IBP) is seeking an experienced Salesforce Consultant for a remote consultancy opportunity to strengthen and optimize its Salesforce platform. This contract role is ideal for Salesforce specialists with experience supporting nonprofit organizations, improving workflows, managing integrations, and enhancing digital systems for organizational efficiency.

The selected consultant will work on improving IBP’s Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) environment, supporting contract management, payment approvals, subgrant management, and contact management processes.

The International Budget Partnership (IBP) is a nonprofit organization that works to improve public finance systems and promote transparency, accountability, and citizen participation in government budgeting.

IBP uses technology and data systems to strengthen internal operations and support its global programmes. As part of its digital improvement efforts, the organization is seeking a Salesforce expert to enhance platform functionality and improve integration with external tools.

About the Salesforce Consultant Role

The Salesforce Consultant will support IBP in optimizing its Salesforce environment through system configuration, workflow improvements, integration support, and technical troubleshooting.

The consultancy will be divided into two phases:

Phase 1: Salesforce System Improvements

The consultant will be responsible for:

  • Configuring Salesforce integration with the DocuSign eSignature package before its service end date in October 2026.
  • Troubleshooting Salesforce and FormAssembly integration processes.
  • Updating Conga Composer document templates and integrations.
  • Creating automated workflows, including:
    • Reminder emails for staff regarding deliverable deadlines.
    • Confirmation emails to partners after agreements are completed.
    • Approval workflows for partner reports and deliverables.
  • Reviewing and improving IBP’s use of the Salesforce Lightning platform.

Phase 2: Ongoing Salesforce Support

Following the initial implementation phase, IBP is seeking continued technical support, including:

  • Updating Salesforce configurations.
  • Managing custom fields, objects, layouts, flows, reports, and dashboards.
  • Supporting data cleanup and migration.
  • Performing quality assurance checks.
  • Troubleshooting system errors and broken automations.
  • Developing user training materials and guides.

Consultancy Deliverables

The consultant will deliver:

Phase 1 Deliverables

  • Fully configured and tested Salesforce integrations.
  • Improved DocuSign, Conga, and FormAssembly connections.
  • Automated Salesforce workflows for:
    • Email notifications.
    • Agreement completion.
    • Partner reporting approvals.
  • Increased organizational adoption of Salesforce Lightning features.

Phase 2 Deliverables

  • Responsive technical support for ongoing Salesforce needs.
  • Assistance with system improvements and maintenance.

Consultancy Details

Location: Remote
Employment Type: Contractor
Start Date: August 2026

Duration

  • Phase 1: 3–6 months.
  • Phase 2: Initial 12-month support agreement.

Estimated workload for Phase 2:

  • Approximately 4–5 hours per month.

Payment will be based on agreed milestones or hours worked.

The consultant must maintain confidentiality regarding IBP’s donor information, financial records, and organizational data.

Required Qualifications

Applicants should have:

  • Strong Salesforce configuration experience.
  • Experience working with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud or Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP).
  • Previous experience supporting nonprofit organizations.
  • Knowledge of nonprofit technology integrations, including:
    • DocuSign.
    • FormAssembly.
    • Conga Composer.
  • Experience developing Salesforce workflows and automations.
  • Experience managing system configurations and external integrations.
  • Strong English communication skills.
