Required Qualifications

The World Meteorological Organization is seeking highly experienced professionals with a strong understanding of institutional development and climate-related governance.

Applicants should possess:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Meteorology, Climatology, Hydrology, Environmental Sciences, Law, Development Studies, Institutional Relations, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of Madagascar’s legal and institutional framework.
• Experience supporting public sector reforms.
• Familiarity with meteorological and hydrological services.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.

Preferred Experience
