Arabic Language Video Presenter
The Arabic Language Video Presenter will play a central role in communicating SJAC’s work to Arabic-speaking audiences. This role focuses on presenting human rights content through video formats that are accurate, engaging, and accessible.
Key Responsibilities
- Present scripted and semi-scripted video content in Arabic for SJAC platforms
- Collaborate with media and research teams to translate complex human rights issues into clear narratives
- Support the production of advocacy, educational, and awareness-raising video materials
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and cultural sensitivity in all presented content
Ideal Profile
- Native or near-native fluency in Arabic
- Strong on-camera presence and communication skills
- Experience in media presentation, journalism, or advocacy communications
- Familiarity with human rights or social justice topics is an advantage
Arabic Media Specialist
The Arabic Media Specialist will strengthen SJAC’s Arabic-language media output and digital presence. This role focuses on content creation, media strategy, and audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce, edit, and adapt Arabic-language content for digital and social media platforms
- Support media campaigns related to human rights documentation and accountability efforts
- Coordinate with internal teams to align messaging with research and advocacy priorities
- Monitor media performance and audience engagement
Ideal Profile
- Professional proficiency in Arabic; strong working knowledge of English preferred
- Experience in media, communications, or digital advocacy
- Strong writing and editing skills in Arabic

Human Rights Analyst (Consultant)
The Human Rights Analyst (Consultant) will support SJAC’s analytical and documentation work through research, data analysis, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze human rights violations using qualitative and quantitative methodologies
- Contribute to thematic or case-based reports related to Syria
- Support legal and accountability-oriented documentation efforts
- Prepare analytical briefs for advocacy and stakeholder engagement
Ideal Profile
- Background in human rights, international law, political science, or related fields
- Proven experience in human rights analysis or documentation
- Strong analytical writing skills
- Familiarity with Syrian context and international accountability mechanisms is an asset
Research & Policy Officer
The Research & Policy Officer will bridge SJAC’s research findings with policy and advocacy objectives, ensuring evidence-based engagement with decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities

- Draft policy briefs, reports, and submissions for international stakeholders
- Monitor developments in international justice and accountability mechanisms
