About the Role

The HR & Talent Acquisition Manager will oversee both recruitment and human resources operations across the organization.

This is a part-time consultancy position, requiring approximately three days per week, with an expected start date at the end of August 2026.

The successful consultant will manage the entire recruitment process while also supporting HR administration, employee engagement, performance management, and organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities

The role is evenly divided between recruitment and HR management.

Talent Acquisition (50%)

Responsibilities include:

  • Proactively sourcing candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, ReliefWeb, job boards, and specialist humanitarian, technology, and data platforms.
  • Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Managing the full recruitment cycle, including:
    • Job postings
    • Candidate sourcing
    • CV screening
    • Interviews
    • Technical assessments
    • Final candidate selection
  • Maintaining Relief Applications’ consultant database for future projects and tenders.

Human Resources Management (50%)

The HR component includes:

  • Drafting and managing employee and consultant contracts.
  • Coordinating payroll with accounting firms.
  • Managing onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Maintaining employee records, leave tracking, and HR documentation.
  • Supporting compliance for the organization’s French and Spanish entities.
  • Conducting one-on-one HR check-ins with team members.
  • Organizing annual performance reviews.
  • Managing employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Helping foster a positive and collaborative remote work culture.
  • Supporting HR strategy and reporting alongside senior leadership.

Who Should Apply?
