Remote Project Manager Opportunity
The selected Project Manager will coordinate operational systems and workflows across the Movement Secretariat. This role is ideal for professionals with strong organizational abilities who enjoy managing multiple workstreams while supporting collaborative teams across time zones.
The contractor will work closely with the Operations Director and coordinate with other Secretariat members, consultants, and external partners.
This is a remote opportunity with flexible scheduling, although participation in scheduled global meetings will be required.
Key Responsibilities
The Project Manager will oversee several operational and coordination functions across the organization.
Workflow and Project Coordination
Responsibilities include:
- Tracking timelines, deliverables, and project milestones
- Managing project workflows across distributed teams
- Maintaining documentation and organizational records
- Identifying operational bottlenecks and proposing solutions
- Supporting meeting preparation and status reporting
- Managing ClickUp project management systems
Contracts and Vendor Management
The contractor will also support contract administration processes by:
- Coordinating consultant and vendor agreements
- Managing contract timelines and renewal tracking
- Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes
- Liaising with the fiscal sponsor regarding compliance requirements
- Maintaining vendor databases and records
Financial Operations Support
Additional duties include:
- Assisting with invoice and expense tracking
- Supporting budget monitoring and reporting
- Organizing financial documentation
- Escalating discrepancies or process concerns when needed
Systems and Operational Tools
The Project Manager will help maintain operational infrastructure through platforms such as:
- ClickUp
- Google Workspace
- Slack
- Humaans
- Shared organizational drives
The role also includes documenting workflows and improving systems as the movement expands.
Qualifications and Experience Required

- Experience coordinating operations within complex or distributed organizations
