The OneSky for all children is currently seeking a Director of Partnerships based in Singapore to lead fundraising and donor engagement efforts across the region. In 2011, the organization partnered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China to train child welfare workers across the country using its evidence-based caregiving approach. Since then, OneSky’s programs have expanded across Asia.
Over the past 25 years, the organization has achieved significant impact, including:
- Training more than 113,500 caregivers
- Supporting improved care for over 377,000 children
- Implementing programs in China, Vietnam, Mongolia, and Hong Kong

Overview of the Director of Partnerships Role
The Director of Partnerships will oversee fundraising activities and donor engagement initiatives primarily in Singapore, while also supporting outreach to potential funders in Hong Kong and other cities across Asia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with donors capable of making significant contributions, typically USD $25,000 or more.
This role is part of the organization’s Global Development team and reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer. The position is Singapore-based with remote working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
The Director of Partnerships will play a central role in expanding OneSky’s funding base and strengthening long-term partnerships.
Fundraising and Donor Development
The core focus of the role is to grow and manage a diverse fundraising portfolio.
Key tasks include:
- Identifying and cultivating new donor prospects across individual, corporate, and foundation sectors
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with key funding partners
- Soliciting and securing major gifts and grants annually
- Managing a robust pipeline of potential funders across Singapore and the wider Asia region
This work ensures that the organization maintains a strong and diversified funding stream.
Strategic Collaboration and Proposal Development
The Director of Partnerships will work closely with internal teams to develop compelling proposals and funding strategies.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the Director of Grants to prepare competitive funding proposals
- Working with finance, program, and monitoring teams to ensure consistent messaging in donor reports
- Developing engaging pitch decks and fundraising materials
- Supporting the creation of annual fundraising strategies and global events
These activities help ensure that donor communications effectively reflect the impact of OneSky’s programs.
Donor Stewardship and Relationship Management
Another important responsibility is maintaining strong relationships with donors and supporters.
Key duties include:
- Managing donor engagement and stewardship activities
- Ensuring that donor commitments and reporting requirements are met
- Tracking donor interactions and information using the Salesforce CRM system
- Providing regular updates to leadership on fundraising progress and opportunities
Strong relationship management helps strengthen trust and encourage long-term support.
External Representation and Networking
The Director of Partnerships will also represent the organization in external forums and networking opportunities.
This includes:
- Participating in conferences, industry events, and donor meetings
- Engaging with philanthropic leaders and corporate partners
- Advocating for early childhood education and care initiatives
The role requires up to 15 percent travel to attend events and meetings across the region.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Candidates applying for this role should have strong experience in fundraising and donor relationship management.
Key requirements include:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 7–10 years of experience generating income from individuals, corporations, and foundations
- Demonstrated success in securing high-value donations and grants
- Strong familiarity with the Singapore fundraising landscape
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in senior fundraising leadership roles
- Strong project management skills
- Experience using Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) or similar CRM systems
