About the Development Internship

Primary responsibilities include:

Development Administration

Prospect Research

Internship Schedule and Work Arrangement

The internship will take place during the Fall 2026 semester.

Program details include:

  • Internship period: September through December 2026.
  • Flexible start and end dates.
  • Part-time option: 15–25 hours per week.
  • Full-time option: 26–37.5 hours per week.
  • Hybrid work environment.
  • Scheduled in-office and remote work arrangements.

Interns must be located in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and able to commute to the office for required in-person workdays.

Full-time interns are expected to work from the office at least four times per month, while part-time interns must attend at least two in-office days monthly.

Compensation and Benefits

The internship offers competitive hourly compensation for students and emerging professionals.

Compensation includes:

  • $17.95 per hour through June 30, 2026.
  • $18.40 per hour effective July 1, 2026.
