Parking Reform Network Seeks Partnerships & Community Manager: Remote US Job | Salary Up to $85K | Apply by October 2

The Parking Reform Network is inviting applications for a Partnerships & Community Manager to help build and strengthen a national network of advocates, organizations and policymakers working to improve parking policy across the United States. This is a full-time remote job based in the US, offering an annual salary of $75,000 to $85,000 plus benefits.
The position is suited to an experienced relationship builder, community manager, coalition coordinator or account management professional who enjoys developing partnerships, creating systems and helping organizations achieve shared goals. The priority application deadline is October 2, 2026, although applications will continue to be accepted until the position is filled.
Partnerships & Community Manager Job Overview
The Partnerships & Community Manager will play a central role in growing and activating the organization’s network. The successful candidate will recruit partners and advocates, support new members, maintain relationships and connect people with relevant resources and opportunities.
The role also involves managing programs and helping develop webinars, policy resources and other initiatives. The successful applicant will not be expected to be a parking policy expert from day one. Instead, they will serve as an organizer, relationship builder, matchmaker and program developer while working alongside policy specialists.
The position reports directly to the President and includes responsibility for managing the day-to-day work of the Community & Communications Coordinator. There is also potential for the role to grow into a Community and Partnerships Director position as the organization expands.
Key Responsibilities
The Partnerships & Community Manager will be responsible for recruiting and onboarding partners and advocates and ensuring they have a positive experience when joining the network.
Key duties include:
- Building and maintaining relationships with partners and advocates.
- Creating systems for regular communication, follow-ups and relationship management.
- Connecting partners with resources such as maps, guides, webinars, research and other materials.
- Managing the Local Campaign Support Program, including partner selection, coaching and logistics.
- Organizing and facilitating organizing roundtables.
- Recruiting and coordinating policy fellows and experts for testimony, press opportunities and white papers.
- Responding to requests for assistance, speaking invitations and media opportunities.
- Identifying potential partnership, sponsorship and policy opportunities.
- Working with the Community & Communications Coordinator on events, webinars, outreach and newsletters.
- Collaborating with development and marketing teams on partnerships, written content and organizational growth.
- Keeping organizational leadership informed about emerging opportunities, challenges and capacity needs.
Who Can Apply?
The organization is looking for a relationship-focused professional with experience in areas such as account management, sales, lobbying, government affairs, association or membership management, coalition coordination or community engagement.
Applicants should be comfortable building systems that help manage a large number of relationships. Experience with CRM tools and structured relationship-management processes would be valuable.
The ideal candidate should also be proactive, self-directed and able to identify opportunities without needing constant direction. An interest in parking, land-use and housing policy is beneficial, although specialist knowledge is not required because the policy side can be learned.
The organization is also interested in candidates who are open to artificial intelligence and new technology and who are interested in using AI and coding to generate useful insights.
Candidates who do not meet every listed qualification are still encouraged to apply. The organization states that applicants will be evaluated holistically rather than solely against a checklist.
Salary, Benefits and Work Arrangement
This is a full-time, exempt remote position based in the United States. The organization describes the role as geographically flexible because its network operates nationally.
The salary range is $75,000 to $85,000 per year. Benefits include a QSEHRA health reimbursement arrangement and a 401(k) employer match.
This opportunity may appeal to professionals seeking a remote nonprofit career focused on partnerships, community building, advocacy and social impact.
How to Apply
Applicants do not need to submit a traditional cover letter. Instead, candidates should answer a question about a network or coalition they have built from the ground up. The response should explain what they did first, how they maintained the network as it grew, how they handled relationships that became less active and how they measured success.
Candidates should send their response together with their resume by email to cm-apply@parkingreform.org.
The email subject line should include the applicant’s name and “Partnerships & Community Manager.”
The priority application deadline is Friday, October 2, 2026. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, with priority consideration given to applications received by that date. The recruitment process will remain open until the position is filled.
