This full-time, remote role is designed to provide critical operational support for fundraising, sponsorship administration, donor services, and office functions. Role Summary
The Development and Operations Coordinator acts as the operational backbone of CCF’s US office. The role encompasses donor and sponsorship support, gift processing coordination, event logistics, CRM management, and select HR/benefits administration. This position ensures that administrative and operational processes run smoothly, allowing donor-facing staff to focus on relationship management and fundraising.
Because the US office is small and highly collaborative, this role requires flexibility, excellent judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across systems and workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Development Operations and Gift Administration
- Process and record donations received via checks, online platforms, stock transfers, donor-advised funds, and other channels
- Maintain accurate donor records in Salesforce, including relationship links, campaign attribution, and administrative notes
- Support reconciliation and tracking of workplace giving, matching gifts, and donor inquiries
- Prepare acknowledgments, receipts, and donor communication materials to ensure timely follow-up
Child Sponsorship Administration Support
- Assist with sponsor communications, record updates, and payment follow-up
- Maintain accurate sponsorship records and coordinate with international colleagues
- Ensure administrative continuity for sponsorship programs and timely handling of inquiries
Event Administration and Logistics
- Support RSVP tracking, guest logistics, materials preparation, vendor coordination, and post-event follow-up
- Assist with tracking and updating event-related documents and ensuring smooth execution
Office and Administrative Support
- Manage mail intake, scanning, routing, and filing
- Coordinate printing, shipping, and mailing of donor reports, invitations, and materials
- Support internal office processes, templates, and recurring reporting requirements
Selected HR / Benefits / Operations Support
- Assist with recurring administrative tasks related to onboarding, payroll workflows, and compliance tracking
- Maintain internal forms, records, and documentation to ensure continuity during staff transitions
General Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with US and international colleagues
- Contribute to continuous improvement of systems, workflows, and administrative processes
- Handle donor, staff, and financial information with discretion and accuracy
Candidate Profile

- Experienced with gift processing, donor administration, and nonprofit operations
- Strong in written communication and professional judgment
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment, with occasional evenings or weekend availability
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years in administration, development operations, nonprofit support, or related fields
- Experience with Salesforce and CRM tools
- Event support, HR, or office administration experience
