About the Organisational Choreographer Role

The Organisational Choreographer plays a central role in ensuring the smooth coordination and daily operations of Numun Fund. This position supports organisational systems, communication, administration, governance processes, team coordination, and people-focused initiatives across the organisation.

Working closely with leadership, programme teams, finance staff, and technology specialists, the successful candidate will help maintain efficient workflows and operational systems that align with Numun Fund’s collaborative and care-centred values.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will support a wide range of operational and organisational functions, including:

Organisational Coordination and Administration

  • Managing organisational calendars, meetings, deadlines, and workflows.
  • Supporting policy development and operational processes.
  • Coordinating onboarding, leave management, and team administration.
  • Managing consultant and vendor coordination, contracts, invoices, and deliverables.
  • Supporting secure information management systems and digital workspaces.
  • Acting as a central point of contact for organisational communications.

Team Coordination and Events

  • Scheduling meetings across multiple global time zones.
  • Organising virtual and in-person workshops, events, and team gatherings.
  • Coordinating travel arrangements and event logistics.
  • Managing CRM systems and event administration processes.

Governance Support

  • Assisting leadership with operational planning and coordination.
  • Organising Board meetings and governance-related activities.
  • Preparing meeting materials and distributing updates to team members.

People and Culture

  • Leading recruitment, onboarding, staff wellbeing, and performance management initiatives.
  • Supporting organisational development and workforce planning.
  • Promoting an inclusive, collaborative, and people-centred workplace culture.
  • Assisting with change management and employee relations processes.

Required Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this opportunity, applicants should possess:

  • At least five years of experience in operations, administration, office management, or organisational coordination.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Experience working with remote and globally distributed teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency with digital collaboration platforms, databases, CRM systems, and online tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Experience coordinating events, meetings, workshops, or organisational logistics.
  • A collaborative mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of feminist values, social justice principles, and systemic power structures, particularly from a Global South perspective.

Desirable Qualifications

Additional qualifications that may strengthen an application include:

  • Experience in philanthropy, grantmaking, or social justice organisations.
  • Previous governance or organisational development experience.
  • Database and information systems management expertise.
  • Knowledge of additional regional languages.
