Role Overview

The Partnerships Coordinator plays a central operational role within Catalyst Now’s fundraising function. As the organization transitions from a startup-style initiative to a fast-growing global movement, this position ensures that fundraising processes remain structured, professional, and dependable.

The role supports the Fundraising Lead and senior leadership by maintaining systems, managing grant workflows, tracking revenue pipelines, and ensuring donor relationships are nurtured effectively. The Coordinator provides the operational foundation necessary for sustainable organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising Pipeline and Revenue Operations

  • Maintain and update fundraising pipeline tracking tools
  • Monitor proposal status, grant agreements, invoices, and payments
  • Follow up on outstanding commitments and payment schedules
  • Support onboarding of new donors and strategic partners
  • Schedule and coordinate fundraising review meetings, including agendas and minutes

Grants and Funding Support

  • Research funding opportunities and track relevant deadlines
  • Maintain the grants calendar to ensure timely submission of applications and reports
  • Compile and coordinate supporting documentation for proposals
  • Draft and submit small- and medium-sized grant proposals
  • Ensure compliance with funder reporting and contractual requirements

Donor and Partner Stewardship

  • Maintain and update CRM systems and donor databases
  • Process donations, pledges, and acknowledgments
  • Prepare funder updates, reports, and impact summaries
  • Coordinate stewardship activities, including meetings and follow-ups
  • Ensure consistent, accurate, and professional communication with donors

Required Experience and Skills

The ideal candidate demonstrates:

  • Experience in nonprofit fundraising, grants management, or operational support
  • Strong organizational and tracking capabilities
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, spreadsheets, and document management platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and reliability
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas persuasively
  • Capacity to develop strategic engagement plans for individuals and organizations
  • Proactive coordination skills to ensure seamless pipeline management
