Prospera International Network of Women’s and Feminist Funds is a global membership network composed of independent women’s and feminist funds working to redistribute resources to feminist movements worldwide.

The Director of Network Engagement will play a key leadership role in strengthening collaboration, collective learning, and member participation across the network.
Key Responsibilities of the Role
The Director of Network Engagement will help shape Prospera’s membership engagement strategy while supporting global movement-building initiatives and organizational leadership.
Main responsibilities include:
Network and Membership Engagement
- Leading membership engagement and relationship management strategies
- Strengthening cross-regional collaboration and coordination
- Organizing convenings, consultations, and political dialogues
- Supporting collective agenda-setting aligned with feminist values
- Facilitating collaborative initiatives and collective action efforts
Knowledge and Learning Leadership
The selected candidate will also oversee the organization’s knowledge and learning systems by:
- Capturing and sharing network-wide learning and insights
- Supporting evidence generation and narrative change initiatives
- Developing learning methodologies and systems
- Ensuring learning informs advocacy and organizational strategies
Strategic Leadership and Team Management
As part of the Senior Management Team, the Director will:
- Contribute to organizational strategy and decision-making
- Support internal collaboration and operational coherence
- Provide mentorship and supervision to team members
- Promote values-based leadership focused on equity and inclusion
The role also involves representing Prospera in global forums, member spaces, and selected external engagements.
Qualifications and Experience Required
Prospera is seeking candidates with strong experience in feminist organizing, network coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
Applicants should possess:
- A master’s degree in politics, social sciences, management, or related fields
- Experience working within membership networks or movement-building environments
- Strong project management and leadership experience
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Political acumen and experience navigating complex stakeholder relationships
- Strong cross-cultural collaboration skills
- Fluency in English
Additional languages are considered an asset.
Preferred Qualifications
The organization especially welcomes candidates who:
- Have experience with feminist organizations or feminist philanthropy
- Are based in countries within the Global South or East
- Have experience supporting transnational feminist movements and networks
Candidates should also be willing and able to travel up to 30% as part of the role.
