Why Translators Should Consider This Opportunity

Translation plays an important role in international journalism, particularly when organisations work across different linguistic and cultural environments. Accurate translation allows journalists, trainers, media organisations and project participants to exchange information effectively while preserving important context and meaning.

This consultancy could therefore be particularly relevant to translators with backgrounds in journalism, media, communications, humanitarian work or NGO programmes.

The opportunity also offers the flexibility of remote work and the potential to support projects through June 2027. However, applicants should remember that the consultancy is needs-based and does not provide a guaranteed minimum number of assignments.
