About the Community Operations Manager Role

Key Responsibilities
Managing Volunteer Moderator Operations
The Community Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of MetaFilter’s volunteer moderation program.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating moderator schedules and ensuring adequate moderation coverage.
- Supporting volunteer moderators with resources and guidance.
- Facilitating communication between moderators and the Board of Directors.
- Conducting volunteer check-ins and support conversations.
