Together for Girls is seeking an Advocacy & Membership Officer to join its global team in a full-time remote position. This exciting opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about advocacy, movement building, survivor-centered engagement, and ending violence against children and adolescents worldwide.
The successful candidate will support advocacy initiatives across the Brave Movement, working closely with survivors, civil society organizations, and global partners to strengthen campaigns that promote prevention, healing, and justice. Applications close on 14 August 2026.

Together for Girls is a global nonprofit organization committed to ending violence against children and adolescents, particularly sexual violence. For nearly two decades, the organization has combined high-quality research with advocacy to influence policies, strengthen prevention efforts, and support survivors.

About the Role
The Advocacy & Membership Officer will report to the Deputy Director, Campaigns & Advocacy and work closely with the Movement Building team to coordinate survivor- and member-centered advocacy activities across the Brave Movement.
The role focuses on ensuring that members are prepared, supported, and connected to advocacy opportunities, including global campaigns, ministerial meetings, government engagements, and international events.
Please note: This position is contingent upon the successful receipt of grant funding.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Coordinate member and survivor participation in advocacy events and campaigns.
- Support the development of advocacy materials and engagement resources.
- Prepare and brief members before advocacy opportunities.
- Coordinate advocacy activities with the Movement Building team.
- Track member participation, commitments, and follow-up actions.
- Maintain records, calendars, and advocacy engagement databases.
- Document advocacy outcomes for donor reporting and organizational learning.
- Support safeguarding preparations for advocacy participants.
- Collaborate with communications teams to promote advocacy initiatives.
- Assist with advocacy event planning and logistics.
- Perform additional coordination tasks as required.
Required Qualifications
Applicants should have:
- At least three years of experience in advocacy coordination, movement building, membership engagement, campaigns, or nonprofit programme coordination.
- Excellent organizational and project coordination skills.
- Strong communication and relationship management abilities.
- Experience working across multicultural and global teams.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications
The organization would particularly welcome candidates with experience in:
- Survivor-led or youth-led movements.
- Community-based organizations.
- Trauma-informed and survivor-centered approaches.
- Membership engagement and coalition building.
- International advocacy campaigns.
- Spanish or French language skills.
Salary and Benefits
Together for Girls offers a competitive salary adjusted to the cost of labor in the employee’s location.
Example annual salary ranges in the United Kingdom include:
- London: £50,360 – £57,680
- Manchester: £42,330 – £48,840
- Other UK locations: £39,270 – £45,280

Working Arrangements
This is a remote full-time position with regular collaboration across international teams.
Team members are expected to:
- Be available during core working hours from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.
- Work the remaining hours flexibly in consultation with their supervisor.
- Travel internationally for meetings and events when required.
