About the Position

The Medical Device UniQuality & Unidata Product Information Specialist will oversee the quality, consistency, and governance of medical device information within MSF’s centralized databases.

Working closely with Quality Assurance teams, Supply Centres, and technical specialists, the successful candidate will ensure product information remains complete, accurate, and compliant with international standards.

The position also supports the implementation of new digital systems designed to improve medical product information management across MSF.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will contribute to several strategic areas of product information management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing medical device records within the UniQuality database
• Creating, validating, and updating product information
• Reviewing manufacturer information and regulatory documentation
• Maintaining ISO certification records
• Supporting data quality improvement initiatives
• Ensuring consistency between UniQuality and the Medical Device Repository
• Monitoring compliance with quality assurance procedures
• Supporting database governance and continuous improvement

The role requires exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills to maintain trusted medical product information.

Product Information and Data Stewardship

A major responsibility of the position involves maintaining centralized product information systems used throughout MSF.

Core duties include:

• Managing product data lifecycle activities
• Supporting product portfolio management
• Maintaining technical specifications
• Improving product codification processes
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Supporting multilingual product information
• Publishing product updates and reports
• Developing data governance procedures

Qualifications and Experience
