About the Opportunity

The Advisor, MEAL, Impact and Gender Equality serves as a key technical leader responsible for enhancing monitoring, evaluation, accountability, learning, impact measurement, and gender equality practices across international programs. Working remotely from Canada, the successful candidate will support country offices, local partners, health facilities, community structures, and government stakeholders in designing, implementing, and evaluating sustainable health interventions.

The position plays a critical role throughout the entire project lifecycle, including proposal development, program implementation, donor reporting, organizational learning, and impact measurement.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to lead and strengthen MEAL systems across multiple programs and countries. Key responsibilities include:

Developing Robust MEAL Frameworks

• Design and improve monitoring and evaluation systems.

• Strengthen data collection and analysis processes.
• Ensure data quality and accountability standards are maintained.

Supporting Program Design and Reporting

• Contribute to proposal development and strategic planning.

Qualifications Required

Educational Background

Applicants should hold:

• A Bachelor’s degree in international development, public health, social sciences, gender studies, evaluation, statistics, epidemiology, or a related field.

Professional Experience

• 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in MEAL, impact measurement, and gender equality.
• Experience working with international NGOs or Canadian NGOs.
• Knowledge of multi-country development programs.
• Strong understanding of donor-funded programming and reporting.
