Role Overview
The Influencer and Marketing Consultant will report to the Communications Manager and work closely with both internal teams and external marketing agencies. The consultant will provide oversight, strategy, and creative guidance for MedGlobal’s digital marketing campaigns and influencer partnerships.
This position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in digital advertising, influencer engagement, and content strategy, who are motivated to use their skills for humanitarian impact.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Advertising Oversight
- Provide strategic guidance on digital campaigns managed by external agencies.
- Review content plans, targeting strategies, creative assets, and messaging.
- Ensure campaigns align with MedGlobal’s fundraising goals and brand positioning.
- Analyze performance metrics to optimize ROI, engagement, and conversions.
- Monitor trends in digital marketing and recommend improvements.
Influencer Outreach and Management
- Identify and recommend influencers, content creators, and public figures aligned with MedGlobal’s mission.
- Support outreach and relationship management with influencers.
- Develop influencer briefs and review content for campaign alignment.
- Track influencer performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations.
Content Review and Creative Direction
- Review and optimize digital ad creatives including videos, graphics, captions, and scripts.
- Provide guidance on messaging angles, hooks, and calls-to-action for fundraising campaigns.
- Support short-form video content development and influencer campaign strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance creative effectiveness and audience engagement.
Strategic Marketing and Campaign Planning
- Assist in planning campaigns for key fundraising periods such as Ramadan, Giving Tuesday, and emergency appeals.
- Provide input on audience segmentation and donor acquisition strategies.
- Contribute to the overall digital marketing and brand expansion strategy.
- Evaluate campaigns post-launch to improve future performance.
Qualifications and Skills
Ideal candidates will possess:
- 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing, paid media strategy, or influencer marketing.
- Proficiency in Meta Ads, Google Ads, digital funnels, and key performance metrics (CPM, CTR, CPA, ROAS).
- Experience managing external agencies and providing strategic oversight.
- Strong content review, copy optimization, and analytical skills.
- Proven experience collaborating with or managing influencers.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Experience in nonprofit or humanitarian communications is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Arabic or Spanish is a plus.
Compensation and Work Conditions
- Consultancy pay: $2,000–$2,500 per month.
- Work location: Fully remote.
- Schedule: Flexible 8-hour shifts.
