Role Overview

This position is home-based but includes regular travel to Afghanistan, including locations such as Kabul and other field offices.

Key Responsibilities

Programme Oversight and Quality Assurance

Coordination and Institutional Strengthening

  • Manage Programme Appraisal Committee processes
  • Support knowledge management systems and documentation
  • Mentor staff and promote sustainable systems across teams

Required Qualifications and Experience

To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Master’s degree in social sciences, development, public administration, gender studies, or related fields
  • At least 5 years of experience in project or programme management
  • Strong expertise in monitoring, evaluation, and results-based management
  • Experience working with international organizations or NGOs
  • Ability to manage compliance frameworks and partner agreements

Additional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are considered an advantage.
