The Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) is seeking an experienced Programme Project Manager to join its international team on a 10-month fixed-term contract. As Programme Project Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering major strategic initiatives, particularly the implementation of ASC’s Farm Standard Project. The role also involves supporting additional strategic projects, including the implementation of the ASC Feed Standard and various digital certification initiatives designed to strengthen operational efficiency and governance.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will oversee multiple aspects of programme delivery and organizational change management, including:
Strategic Project Delivery
- Leading implementation of ASC’s Farm Certification Programme.
- Managing project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinating change management activities across departments.
- Supporting certification programme rollouts globally.
Team Coordination and Leadership
- Facilitating collaboration among international teams.
- Ensuring project responsibilities are clearly assigned.
- Supporting stakeholder engagement and communication.
- Driving progress toward strategic objectives and deadlines.
Risk Management and Governance
- Conducting project risk assessments.
- Developing mitigation and contingency plans.
- Monitoring project dependencies and operational risks.
- Escalating critical issues to senior leadership when required.
Communication and Reporting
- Preparing executive reports and governance updates.
- Delivering regular progress reports to stakeholders.
- Maintaining accurate project documentation.
- Supporting transparent communication across teams.
Systems and Process Management
- Managing workflows using Monday.com.
- Supporting project governance frameworks.
- Utilizing digital dashboards and reporting tools.
- Overseeing implementation of audit and compliance systems.

- Strong planning, delegation, and coordination skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, and Monday.com.
Professional certifications such as PgMP, MSP Practitioner, Agile certifications, or PRINCE2 credentials are considered highly desirable.
