Mines Advisory Group (MAG) Seeks Senior Logistics Experts for Global Humanitarian Talent Pool – Apply by 27 July 2026

Mines Advisory Group (MAG) is inviting applications from experienced humanitarian logistics professionals for its Senior Logistics Experts (SLE) Talent Pool, a global roster designed to provide rapid-response logistics expertise to MAG programmes operating in complex humanitarian environments worldwide.

The opportunity is open to senior professionals with expertise in supply chain management, fleet management, mechanical workshop operations, and construction procurement. Selected experts will be eligible for short-term international deployments supporting MAG’s humanitarian mine action and armed violence reduction programmes.

About the Senior Logistics Experts Talent Pool

MAG’s Senior Logistics Experts Talent Pool provides access to experienced professionals who can support humanitarian programmes requiring urgent or specialised logistics capacity.

The roster supports MAG operations through:

• Filling temporary senior logistics vacancies.
• Supporting programme expansion or closure.
• Providing technical expertise during operational transitions.
• Strengthening logistics systems and processes.
• Supporting emergency responses and complex deployments.

Membership in the Talent Pool does not represent permanent employment. Instead, experts are contacted when a suitable deployment opportunity becomes available based on their skills, experience, and availability.

Successful candidates will complete onboarding requirements, including background checks, medical checks, and reference verification, allowing them to be quickly deployed when required.

Available Expertise Areas

1. Senior Supply Chain Management Experts

MAG is seeking professionals with extensive experience managing supply chains in complex humanitarian settings.

Selected experts may support:

• Procurement operations.
• Warehousing systems.
• Asset management.
• Fleet coordination.
• Facilities management.
• Logistics strategy development.
• Supply chain transformation projects.

Applicants should demonstrate experience working independently in challenging environments and managing multicultural teams.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Strong humanitarian logistics experience.
• Knowledge of donor compliance requirements.
• Experience managing complete project lifecycles.
• Ability to improve logistics systems and processes.
• Strong English communication skills.

Additional language skills, particularly French, Spanish, or Arabic, are highly valued.

2. Fleet and Mechanical Workshop Management Experts

MAG operates a large international fleet supporting humanitarian mine action programmes worldwide.

The organisation is seeking specialists who can strengthen fleet systems and support transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities may include:

• Improving fleet management practices.
• Supporting adoption of global fleet standards.
• Managing vehicle fleets and mechanical workshops.
• Developing training programmes.
• Strengthening maintenance systems.
• Supporting digital fleet management solutions.

Applicants should have:

• Experience managing large and complex vehicle fleets.
• Knowledge of mechanical workshop operations.
• Experience implementing fleet management systems.

Deployment Opportunities

Talent Pool members may be deployed internationally for assignments lasting from several weeks to several months.

Professionals should be comfortable working in challenging environments and adapting quickly to changing humanitarian contexts.
