About the Role
LawnStarter is looking for a dynamic and dependable Sales Phone Agent to join our remote team. If you have experience in phone sales, a solid work ethic, and an ideal distraction-free workspace, this could be the perfect role for you! As a Sales Phone Agent, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls with US-based customers, explaining our services, booking appointments, and closing sales.
This is a seasonal position that runs from February to September, with the possibility of transitioning into a long-term role based on performance. We offer comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you succeed!
Key Responsibilities
- Handle approximately 200 calls per week (both inbound and outbound).
- Provide detailed explanations about our lawn care services platform, offer job estimates, and book services with upsell opportunities.
- Manage calls lasting 6-15 minutes to close sales and meet targets.
- Work during operational hours: 7 AM to 12 AM CST (Mon-Fri) and 8 AM to 10 PM CST (Sat-Sun).
- Achieve defined sales targets and exceed performance metrics.
- Overcome objections and upsell services effectively to customers.
What We’re Looking For
- Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English.
- 2+ years of experience in a BPO or sales-related role, with phone-based sales experience.
- Ability to close sales and connect with customers over the phone, with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Adaptability and resilience, with the ability to handle changing customer needs and feedback.
- Empathy and rapport-building skills to establish strong customer relationships.
- Must have access to a computer with at least 8GB RAM, Core i5 processor, and a noise-canceling headset.
- A reliable internet connection (25 Mbps or higher, with backup connection) and a quiet, distraction-free workspace.
Required Equipment
- Computer or laptop with a camera (no tablets, iPads, or phones).
- Consistent power source and a backup internet connection.
- Preferably PLDT or Converge ISP for optimal performance.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay: $5 per hour.
- Performance-based commission: Earn an additional $1 to $4 per hour based on sales performance.
