Junior Researcher Role Overview

The Junior Researcher will join Bodhi’s Research and Evaluation team, supporting research projects throughout the full project cycle. Key Responsibilities

Research and Data Analysis

• Cleaning and coding research data
• Analysing findings using appropriate frameworks

Qualifications and Experience Required

Applicants should have a strong academic background and interest in international development research.

The ideal candidate should have:

• A Master’s degree in Development Studies, International Relations, Peace and Conflict Studies, or a related field
• Two to three years of relevant research experience
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills
• Experience or interest in qualitative and quantitative research methods
• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
• Fluency in English

Knowledge of additional languages, particularly French, will be considered an advantage.

Experience with research tools such as NVivo, Python, or similar analytical software is also beneficial.

Opportunity for International Fieldwork

A unique aspect of this position is the opportunity to participate in international fieldwork. The Junior Researcher should be willing and prepared to travel for short-term deployments lasting between two and four weeks.
