Role Overview

The Global Safety and Security Manager will lead Itad’s Global Safety & Security function and ensure the organisation meets its duty of care responsibilities.

The role combines strategic leadership with practical risk management support and involves working closely with project teams, operational departments, safeguarding colleagues, and external security advisers.

Key Responsibilities

International Travel Safety and Security

The Global Safety and Security Manager will oversee travel governance and provide specialist support for higher-risk deployments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing travel risks and supporting mitigation planning.
  • Providing security advice for medium, high, and extreme-risk locations.
  • Supporting traveller briefings and incident response planning.
  • Ensuring compliance with travel policies and duty of care requirements.

Developing Safety and Security Frameworks

The successful candidate will lead continuous improvement of Itad’s safety and security systems.

The Global Safety and Security Manager will also chair the Travel, Safety and Security Committee and contribute to organisational risk discussions.
