Role Summary

The Development Director plays a critical leadership role in advancing the organization’s mission by ensuring sustainable financial growth. This is a remote position, though candidates must be able to work in or near Germantown, New York, with monthly travel to the Institute’s offices and additional travel for donor engagement as needed.

Key Responsibilities

The Development Director will oversee all aspects of fundraising strategy and execution. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on implementation to ensure consistent revenue growth.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Managing all development operations, including:
  • Major gifts
  • Annual giving campaigns
  • Grant writing and management
  • Donor stewardship programs
• Designing and implementing a comprehensive, results-driven fundraising strategy.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with donors, foundations, and strategic partners.
• Communicating the organization’s mission in a way that reflects its Catholic identity and values.
• Ensuring fundraising initiatives align with organizational priorities and long-term goals.
• Monitoring performance to ensure revenue targets are met or exceeded.

Required Qualifications
