About the Consultancy
The selected consultant or research team will conduct an in-depth comparative study titled:
“Captured Justice: Judicial and Institutional Capture, Civic Space, and Transitional Justice.”
The assignment will examine how justice institutions can become tools of repression, impunity, and democratic erosion, while also analysing the effects on survivors, victims, civil society organisations, journalists, lawyers, and human rights defenders.
The consultancy forms part of the broader Global Initiative Against Impunity (GIAI), a consortium co-funded by the European Union.
