Key Responsibilities
The Senior Recruitment Specialist will report directly to the Co-founder and CEO and will be responsible for supporting both Impact Ops and its clients through strategic recruitment initiatives.
Key duties include:
- Managing relationships with multiple high-impact AI safety organizations and nonprofit clients.
- Identifying and engaging candidates for highly specialized roles, including machine learning researchers, policy experts, operational leaders, and AI safety professionals.
- Building long-term talent pipelines in a niche and relationship-driven recruitment environment.
- Designing evidence-based hiring processes and assessment frameworks tailored to technical and research-focused positions.
- Advising clients on compensation strategies and benchmarking against industry standards.
- Implementing innovative recruitment technologies and AI-powered hiring tools.
- Developing recruitment approaches that align with the culture and values of AI safety and Effective Altruism communities.
- Supporting and mentoring junior recruitment staff while contributing to the growth of the recruitment function.

Ideal Candidate Profile
Impact Ops is seeking an experienced recruiter with at least five years of recruitment experience in fast-paced environments.
Successful candidates should possess:
