Purpose of the Role

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will lead end-to-end research and evaluation processes, including:
Research Design & Implementation
- Identify key research questions aligned with program goals
- Develop methodologies and sampling strategies
- Design and implement data collection tools (e.g., SurveyCTO)
- Monitor field data collection processes
Data Analysis & Management
- Clean and analyze datasets using R or Python
- Conduct advanced statistical analysis, including:
- Regression models
- Difference-in-Differences analysis
- Power calculations and sampling techniques
Monitoring & Data Quality Assurance
- Build systems to ensure high-quality data collection
- Develop automated checks (e.g., GPS validation, anomaly detection)
- Troubleshoot data collection tools and processes
Strategic Insights & Reporting
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Produce reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Support decision-making with evidence-based recommendations
Partner Collaboration
- Work with NGOs and healthcare partners to strengthen monitoring and evaluation systems
- Integrate data insights into broader program strategies
Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in:

- Data Science

- At least 2+ years of experience in:
- Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E)
- Quantitative research or impact evaluation

- Experience designing sampling frameworks and conducting surveys
- Excellent communication skills to present technical findings clearly
