Position Overview
The Legal Associate will provide support to the Feminist Litigation Network (FLN), working under the supervision of both the Anglophone Manager and the Francophone West Africa Legal Manager.
The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening relationships with partners, supporting network development initiatives, coordinating activities, and contributing to legal research and advocacy efforts.
This position requires collaboration across linguistic, legal, and cultural contexts, making it an ideal opportunity for lawyers interested in regional human rights work.
Key Responsibilities
The Legal Associate will contribute to a broad range of activities, including:
- Supporting the development and coordination of the Feminist Litigation Network.
- Strengthening partnerships with civil society organizations and legal practitioners.
- Assisting with capacity-building initiatives and training activities.
- Conducting legal and policy research.
- Producing legal briefs, reports, and knowledge products.
- Supporting strategic litigation and advocacy efforts.
