About the Role
The AI Technical Lead will play a central role in GRIT’s next phase of growth, overseeing the technical vision and implementation of its AI-powered platforms.
The successful candidate will lead the development and scaling of key products including:
- Zuzi – a multilingual WhatsApp companion.
- inFORMed – a generative AI tool designed to support protection-order form completion.
This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic leadership, and a commitment to building technology that prioritizes gender justice and user safety.
Key Responsibilities
The AI Technical Lead will:
- Lead the design and deployment of production AI and LLM systems.
- Oversee the technical architecture of GRIT’s AI products.
- Guide continuous product improvement and innovation.
- Build and mentor an in-house feminist technology team.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- Ensure ethical, safe, and responsible AI implementation.
- Integrate community feedback into product development.
- Support long-term technology strategy and growth.
