Experienced grant writers, fundraising professionals, and development specialists are invited to support community transformation initiatives in Zambia through a new remote volunteer opportunity. Chitambo Development Foundation (CHDF) is seeking passionate professionals with expertise in grant writing and proposal development to help create funding opportunities for projects supporting vulnerable rural communities.

Chitambo Development Foundation (CHDF) is a community-led, non-profit, non-political, and non-religious organization registered under Zambian law. The organization works mainly in Chitambo and Serenje districts of Central Province, Zambia, supporting disadvantaged and marginalized communities through sustainable development initiatives.

CHDF’s mission is to empower rural communities through asset-building, self-help approaches, and inclusive development solutions that improve livelihoods and promote long-term resilience.

• Experience securing donor funding or supporting fundraising processes.
• Strong English writing and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and deliver assignments within agreed timelines.
