Join a Global Organization Tackling Methane Emissions

The Global Methane Hub was created as the first coordinated philanthropic initiative dedicated specifically to accelerating methane mitigation efforts. Methane is one of the most powerful greenhouse gases contributing to climate change, and reducing emissions offers one of the fastest ways to slow global warming.

The organization focuses on three major sectors responsible for the majority of human-caused methane emissions:

  • Energy: Supporting initiatives that reduce methane leaks from fossil fuel production and distribution.
  • Agriculture: Advancing solutions that address methane emissions from livestock and agricultural practices.

Through funding, collaboration, and technical support, the organization works with governments, researchers, civil society groups, and philanthropic partners to create meaningful climate solutions.
