Global Health Introductory Fellowship 2026: An Opportunity to Learn, Engage, and Create Impact
Global health has experienced some of humanity’s greatest successes. From the eradication of smallpox to life-saving vaccination campaigns and improved nutrition programmes, evidence-based interventions have transformed millions of lives worldwide. However, many preventable health challenges continue to affect vulnerable populations, particularly in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
To help address these challenges, Effective Altruism South Africa and Effective Altruism Nigeria are offering the Global Health Introductory Fellowship 2026, a six-week online programme designed to introduce participants to global health through the lens of policy, advocacy, and evidence-based decision-making.
Programme Overview
The fellowship is based on the curriculum developed by Health Progress Hub and provides participants with a structured introduction to key global health concepts.
