About the Events Manager Role
FundMiner is seeking an organized, detail-oriented professional to oversee both in-person conferences and the company’s expanding digital events programme.
The Events Manager will manage every stage of event planning—from identifying industry conferences and coordinating logistics to measuring event performance and ensuring each event generates meaningful business results. The successful candidate will also collaborate closely with marketing, partnerships, customer success, and product teams to deliver engaging virtual events and webinars.
Key Responsibilities
The Events Manager will lead FundMiner’s events strategy by:
Conference and In-Person Events
- Managing the annual conference calendar
- Researching and evaluating industry conferences
- Preparing speaking proposals and sponsorship submissions
- Coordinating booth design, branded merchandise, promotional materials, and shipping logistics
- Managing on-site event operations, team schedules, and customer events
- Building relationships with conference organizers
- Tracking return on investment (ROI) for conference participation
Digital Events
The successful candidate will also:
- Coordinate webinars and virtual events
- Manage event scheduling and logistics
- Work with internal teams on customer and partner events
- Support registration, attendee engagement, and post-event follow-up
- Use platforms such as Livestorm and HubSpot to manage digital programmes
Strategy and Operations
Additional responsibilities include:
- Developing an annual events calendar
- Creating repeatable event processes and templates
- Tracking registrations, attendance, engagement, and event performance
- Managing event budgets and expenses
- Preparing reports for leadership on programme success
- Collaborating closely with marketing and partnerships teams
Qualifications and Experience
FundMiner is looking for candidates with:
- Three to five years of project management or events experience
- Experience coordinating conferences and virtual events
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Confidence managing vendor relationships
- Familiarity with webinar platforms such as Livestorm, Zoom Webinars, or ON24
- Experience using HubSpot or similar CRM systems
Experience within Higher Education, Healthcare Philanthropy, or the nonprofit sector is considered an advantage.
