The successful candidate will support LSM’s campaigns across France by strengthening partnerships, coordinating programmes, engaging communities, and helping expand the organisation’s mission of promoting climate and ecological justice.

Role Overview
The France Program Coordinator will lead the implementation of campaign strategies in France and support the growth of LSM’s network of partners and supporters.
The coordinator will report to the Europe Director and collaborate with the France Campaign Coordinator and other programme teams.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Building climate and ecological justice movements.
- Managing campaign activities.
- Strengthening partnerships.
- Supporting community engagement.
- Coordinating communications activities.
- Supporting strategic planning and programme evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
Movement Building and Campaign Coordination
The successful candidate will:
- Lead climate and ecological justice campaigns across France.
- Support Laudato Si’ Animators, Circles, and member organisations.
- Recruit and engage participants for major global campaigns.
- Promote the Laudato Si Action platform.
- Coordinate participation during important climate and faith moments, including the Season of Creation.
- Support LSM activities connected to major Church and climate events.
The role will help expand participation among faith communities and climate advocates throughout France.
Partnership Development and External Engagement
The coordinator will build and maintain relationships with important stakeholders, including:
- Catholic leaders and institutions.
- Faith-based climate organisations.
- Environmental groups.
- Civil society organisations.
- Communities impacted by climate change.
- Catholic media networks.
The successful candidate will represent LSM publicly, support outreach strategies, and maintain strong relationships with partners.
Strategic Planning and Impact Management
Responsibilities will also include:
- Implementing LSM’s France strategy.
- Developing engagement plans for members and partners.
- Tracking goals and evaluating programme impact.
- Supporting sustainability and advocacy initiatives.
- Documenting results and lessons learned.
Who Should Apply?
LSM is seeking candidates with experience in nonprofit programmes, environmental advocacy, and community organising.
Applicants should have:
- 2–4 years of experience in nonprofit organisations.
- Experience in environmental or faith-based organisations is preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience managing staff or volunteers.
- Knowledge of climate and ecological issues.
- Understanding of French Catholic communities and institutions.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a faith-based environment and demonstrate commitment to LSM’s values.
Skills and Experience Required
The ideal candidate should demonstrate:
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication and writing abilities.
