Together for Girls (TfG) is recruiting an Advocacy & Membership Officer to join its global Programs team. About the Role

Reporting to the Deputy Director, Campaigns & Advocacy, the Advocacy & Membership Officer will coordinate survivor and member participation in advocacy activities across the Brave Movement.

The successful candidate will work closely with advocacy, communications, safeguarding, and movement-building teams to ensure members are prepared, supported, and connected to high-impact advocacy opportunities around the world.

Key Responsibilities

The Advocacy & Membership Officer will:

• Coordinate survivor and member participation in advocacy events, campaigns, ministerial meetings, and global launches.
• Support the development of advocacy materials that reflect member perspectives.
• Prepare and brief members before advocacy engagements and coordinate follow-up afterward.
• Work closely with the Movement Building team to strengthen member engagement.
• Maintain tracking systems for advocacy participation, commitments, and outcomes.
• Support donor reporting and monitoring by documenting advocacy activities and results.
• Coordinate safeguarding preparation for advocacy participants.
• Collaborate with communications teams on advocacy visibility initiatives.
• Organize records, calendars, logistics, and engagement documentation.
• Assist with advocacy event coordination and other related responsibilities.

Qualifications

Applicants should have:

• At least three years of experience in advocacy coordination, campaigns, nonprofit programme management, membership engagement, or movement building.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
• Experience working with global, cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Commitment to survivor-centered and trauma-informed approaches.
• Fluency in English.

Experience working with survivor-led, youth-led, or community-based movements is highly desirable, while proficiency in Spanish and/or French is considered an asset.

Location and Working Arrangements

This is a remote position available to candidates residing in the United Kingdom.

The successful candidate must:

• Have legal authorization to work in the UK.
• Be available during the organization’s core working hours of 8:00 AM–12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, with flexibility for the remaining work hours.
• Be willing to travel up to 25% for meetings, conferences, and advocacy events.

Salary and Benefits

Compensation is based on the candidate’s location within the United Kingdom.

Current salary ranges include:

• London: £50,360–£57,680
• Manchester: £42,330–£48,840
• Other UK locations: £39,270–£45,280
