Talk to Loop is an innovative feedback and reporting mechanism designed to improve transparency and accountability in humanitarian and development programming.
The platform enables communities to report and provide feedback on issues such as:
- Sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA)
- Gender-based violence (GBV)
- Child protection concerns
- Fraud and corruption
- Aid diversion and misconduct
By collecting and analysing community feedback, Loop helps humanitarian actors respond more effectively to community needs and improve service delivery.
In Ethiopia, the initiative is implemented in collaboration with CCRDA, a national organization supporting civil society coordination and humanitarian accountability.
Job Location and Contract Details
The Sensitive Feedback Lead position is based in Addis Ababa with occasional travel to the Somali Region.

Role Overview
The Ethiopia Sensitive Feedback Lead will oversee the management of sensitive feedback submitted through the Loop platform.
The role focuses on ensuring that reports related to protection concerns are handled:

The selected candidate will also lead the Ethiopian Loop team and work closely with national protection actors and global technical specialists.
Key Responsibilities
The Sensitive Feedback Lead will oversee multiple aspects of the Loop platform’s operations in Ethiopia.
Team Management and Supervision
The position includes leadership of a small feedback management team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising daily operations of the sensitive feedback team
- Providing coaching and technical support to moderators
- Managing staff performance reviews and professional development
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and team well-being

Feedback Management and Case Handling
A central responsibility of the role is ensuring that sensitive cases are managed responsibly and efficiently.
Key duties include:
- Reviewing and triaging sensitive feedback submissions daily
- Managing referral pathways for cases such as GBV, SEA, and fraud
- Tracking open cases and ensuring timely follow-up with partners
- Escalating complex or high-risk cases when necessary

Training and Capacity Building
The Sensitive Feedback Lead will play an important role in strengthening staff capacity.
