About the Position

This is a full-time remote role, with work expected to be performed in or near The Hague, Netherlands, although exceptional candidates from other regions in the Americas or Western Europe may also be considered depending on location and organizational needs. The Associate will report to the Senior Associate of Forests and Climate and play an important role in coordinating campaigns, conducting research, managing partnerships, and supporting communications.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will support numerous aspects of Mighty Earth’s environmental campaigns, including:

• Coordinating campaign meetings and taking meeting notes.
• Conducting research on corporate supply chains and environmental policies.
• Building relationships with civil society organizations, academics, and government officials.
• Supporting outreach to corporate executives and policymakers.
• Creating and publishing blogs, reports, campaign materials, and digital content.
• Organizing webinars, events, and virtual meetings.
• Assisting with grant reporting, procurement, budgeting, and administrative coordination.
• Managing organizational files and workflow systems using Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Slack.

Qualifications and Skills Required

Mighty Earth is seeking candidates who are organized, proactive, and committed to environmental justice. Applicants should have:

• At least two years of professional experience in advocacy, campaigning, grassroots organizing, or related fields.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.

Salary and Benefits

For candidates based in the United States, the salary ranges from USD $60,000 to $65,000 per year, accompanied by a generous benefits package.

For applicants located outside the United States, compensation is adjusted according to local labor markets. For example:

• United Kingdom: £48,000–£53,000
• Amsterdam: €52,000–€56,000

Additional salary information is available during the recruitment process for candidates located elsewhere in the Americas or Western Europe.
