About the Industry Engagement Manager Position

The Industry Engagement Manager serves as a key liaison between Greenlight America and utility-scale clean energy developers, consultants, and other industry partners. This role focuses on fostering trusted relationships, ensuring effective communication, supporting regional campaigns, and helping developers successfully navigate community engagement and permitting processes.

Reporting to the Director of Industry Engagement, the successful candidate will work remotely with occasional travel of less than five percent.

Key Responsibilities

The Industry Engagement Manager will be responsible for:

• Building and maintaining relationships with renewable energy developers and consultants.
• Serving as a primary point of contact throughout Greenlight campaign lifecycles.
• Supporting regional campaigns through weekly and biweekly strategy meetings.
• Providing timely guidance and resolving challenges involving industry partners.
• Understanding regional political, cultural, regulatory, and community dynamics.
• Engaging stakeholders to strengthen campaign success and developer confidence.
• Attending renewable energy conferences and networking events.
• Identifying new campaign opportunities and assisting with business development efforts.
• Supporting Greenlight’s reputation as an independent and trusted partner in clean energy permitting.

Required Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• At least three years of relevant professional experience.
• A minimum of two years working in the clean energy industry.
• Experience in one or more of the following:
  • Community engagement
  • Public affairs
  • Political advocacy
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Project development
  • Renewable energy permitting
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
