About the Role

The AI for Education Program Director will lead strategic education technology projects while working closely with nonprofit organizations, corporate partners, skilled volunteers, and international stakeholders.

The role combines programme leadership, project management, AI capacity building, and relationship management to help nonprofit organizations successfully adopt artificial intelligence in education.

This is a full-time remote position for candidates based in the United States, with international travel expected for approximately 20–30% of the year.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will oversee a variety of high-impact initiatives, including:

• Leading AI-focused technical assistance and advisory projects for education NGOs
• Designing AI readiness assessments to evaluate organizational and educational preparedness
• Developing and facilitating AI training cohorts for nonprofit organizations
• Managing skilled volunteer consulting projects from planning through implementation
• Ensuring quality delivery and sharing best practices across Team4Tech’s global Community of Practice
• Collaborating with Program Directors and Regional Hub Leads on education initiatives
• Analyzing programme data to improve planning, reporting, and decision-making
• Building strong relationships with nonprofit partners, corporate sponsors, volunteers, and stakeholders

Candidate Requirements

Team4Tech is seeking an experienced professional with a passion for education, technology, and global development.

Applicants should possess:

• At least five years of experience managing educational technology programmes
• Direct experience leading AI for education initiatives or AI advisory projects
• Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs), adaptive learning technologies, and AI-powered educational tools
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Experience working across diverse international and multicultural environments
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high-quality outcomes
• Experience developing training programmes and facilitating capacity-building initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following qualifications will be particularly competitive:

• Master’s degree in International Development, Educational Technology, Public Policy, Global Data Governance, or a related field
• Experience working with NGOs, international development organizations, or corporate social responsibility programmes
• Knowledge of educational technology implementation in low-resource settings
• Experience managing skilled volunteering programmes
• Ability to analyze programme data and prepare impact reports
• Strong stakeholder engagement experience
• Spanish language proficiency

Location and Travel
