ACLED is seeking an experienced Digital Content and Marketing Coordinator to join its marketing team in a fully remote, full-time position. The role is designed for a digital marketing professional who can create compelling content, develop growth campaigns, manage email marketing, support webinars and virtual events, and use data to improve audience engagement and business growth.
The position offers a salary of $60,000 to $65,000 per year and is open to experienced professionals with at least five years of relevant marketing and digital experience. The successful candidate will work remotely and collaborate with sales, research and market-focused teams to turn data and insights into campaigns that attract audiences, partners and customers.
About the Digital Content and Marketing Coordinator Role
The Digital Content and Marketing Coordinator will play an important role in driving audience acquisition, engagement and pipeline generation across ACLED’s customer and partner segments.
This is a hands-on position requiring both creativity and analytical thinking. The successful candidate will be expected to develop repeatable digital growth programmes, create effective campaigns and measure their performance.
The role is fully remote and sits within the Corporate Licensing department. It is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, with an expected start date as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
A major part of the position involves growth and demand generation. The coordinator will own and execute growth strategies across key channels, develop multi-channel campaigns and improve lead-generation and nurturing funnels in collaboration with sales.
The successful candidate will also manage the organization’s email marketing programme from start to finish. This includes newsletters, nurture sequences and campaign emails. Responsibilities include audience segmentation, personalized messaging, automated workflows and lead scoring using CRM and automation tools such as Salesforce.
The coordinator will also lead the strategy and operational delivery of webinars, industry events and virtual roundtables. This involves identifying relevant themes and speakers, promoting events, increasing registrations and attendance, and ensuring that participants are effectively engaged after each event. Webinar content may also be repurposed into additional digital assets.
Product Communications and Content
The role requires someone who can translate complex data and research into clear and compelling communications.
The Digital Content and Marketing Coordinator will help communicate ACLED’s data products and insights by developing value propositions, supporting product launches and creating messaging for target audiences.
The successful candidate may also develop sales materials such as one-pagers, presentations and case studies. Collaboration with research, analysis and revenue teams will be important to ensure that messaging remains consistent across the organization.
Analytics and Digital Marketing
Data will be central to the role. The coordinator will track and report on campaign performance across email, digital channels, webinars and events.
Candidates should be comfortable working with metrics, spreadsheets and website analytics tools. They will use performance data to identify trends, optimize campaigns and improve return on investment.
Experience setting up and optimizing digital advertising campaigns, along with knowledge of marketing automation and CRM platforms, is also required.

Applicants should be self-starters who are comfortable working remotely and eager to learn and grow. Strong copywriting skills, an eye for aesthetics and an understanding of current digital growth and measurement practices are also important.
Candidates should have a BSc or MSc degree in Business, Communications or a related field.
